An 800-pound pig is looking for a loving home this Christmas.
The Langley Animal Protection Society (LAPS) says that Theodore the pig is in need of a caring family to adopt him.
Theodore was picked up and impounded for “running at large” in the
Township of Langley and has spent the last 180 days being cared for by
LAPS.
The Animal Control Officer (ACO) who impounded the Yorkshire pig has been helping with the pig’s care.
“My parents had the space and were willing to provide him the shelter
he needed in the colder winter months,” said ACO Tina Jensen-Fogt in a
press release.
Looking after Theodore takes commitment. The pig requires nearly five
hours LAPS staff time to care for him and $100 worth of grain per
month.
