To raise awareness for victims of domestic violence, I organized "40 Dogs on a Log for a Cause"
Many people in abusive relationships are afraid to leave the abuse because they are concerned for their pet, and most shelters will not allow the pet either.
The SPCA has compassionate boarding available, and the funds raised from this event and from donations help to pay for the care of the pets while their owner is in transition.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this event possible and a special thank-you to all of you who have donated.
