The Controversy over Tintin
Tintin — the famous Belgian comic series about the adventures of a young Belgian reporter, accompanied by his little terrier — originated in 1907 and has been translated into more than 50 languages. The series has been beloved around the world by generations.
But the creator of Tintin has a dark past: he was reputed to be a fascist and a Nazi collaborator. While there’s a movement in the UK to ban Tintin, here in North America a blockbuster movie is being released.
